Cover it with a bandaid...it will protect the area until it has more of a chance to heel.

Theres a product out by bandaid called LIQUID bandaid. It goes on clear and it works really good. I have my hands in water most of the day and it stays on really well and nothing has gotten in my cuts yet! I also work with color and perm solution and it's not affected it yet.

you can use a bandaid or a guaze pad and wrap it around with tape.
