Sometimes sinus infections will clear up on their own with rest and fluids and saline nose spray. However, often they require antibiotics. If you are having drainage that is dark yellow to green in color, you should see your doctor for a prescription. In addition to what they prescribe, saline nose spray can help keep the sinuses irrigated and can help clear the infection sooner. If you are terribly stopped up a nasal spray like Afrin can help, but you have to be careful not to use it for more than 3 days as there can be a "rebound" affect when you stop taking it. It's best to use it at night before going to sleep, so you can breath and thus sleep better. Hot and/or cold compresses on your sinuses can bring relief also. Good luck and feel better soon.

Get a washcloth wet and put it in the microwave, nuke for about 2minutes. Lay down and place the cloth across your nose, eyes, forehead, cheeks. You will begin to feel the drainage. Continue throughout the day and evening. Another thing is to take a super hot shower, face the shower and let the water hit you in the face around the cheeks. The heat and the pulsing should help make you feel better.

Get a vaporizer and turn it on at night, this will improve your breathing. Take a vitamin C supplement and drink plenty of fruit juices. Rub some Vicks VapoRub on your chest and back, before you go to bed. Take long showers, so that the steam opens up your sinuses.

Neti pot, Yoga. Is a help.
It is taking warm water into a nostril and getting out of the other.
You could drink warm and keep warm specially the head. A warm shower helps rid cold too. Keep warm after that.
Take honey in warm water and Vitamin C always helps.
Go to a Doc. when nothing helps.

Well to me it sounds like you need a antibiotic from the doctor before it gets any worst. Go see a doctor because it won't clear up by itself. Also with the cold it lead to an upper respiratory infection and that also could lead to pneumonia.
