Can someone PLEASE help me figure out a recipe for "small" salt crystals? (the ones that take only a few days)

Take a small pile of salt and a saucer (or other small bowl shape) Add just enough warm water to dissolve. Put in a quiet place but either have a small fan blow air across it or put it in line with central heating draft. The water will evaporate quickly because of the large flat area and small quantity of water.
