does anyone know anything about optima xl6 house alarms?????????

ive just replaced the battery it in a optima xl6 house alarm...
i turn the electric back on....then enter the code to stop the alarm,it
stops...but the keypad wont work after ive done it.....can anyone
help please???????????

i forgot to mention that the tamper light stays on as well......

Maybe the spring has fallen off the tamper switch under the cover, when you replaced the battery??

Should work after you clear/reset the tamper fault.
