it is not necessary. I mean if you don't have do anything, and it's nite
and you are not feeling sleepy then getting into bed and trying to sleep is a good option. but most of the people they find some way to
spend the nite. So its not that it is the case with everyone. some people don't drag themselves just bcoz it's nite.

Well even if I'm not sleepy it's usually because if I don't get to bed at a half way decent hour, I'll be like a bear in the morning when my husband wakes me up to go do stuff with him.

I have one word for you: Parents. Yes, my dad still makes me go to bed at a certain time every night. I'm getting a little old. But also, if you have something to do the next day you don't want to stay up till 4 am the night before :P

Well we do certain things due to the fact that we have been made to think that these are right.

Most of us are made to believe that if we dont take x hours of sleep we will be drowsy all thru next day. Since our body responds to what is in our mind, so if you are sleeping less than x hours you tend to feel drowsy next day.

And since nobody wants to look drowsy, they push themseleves on the bed!!!

Since time immemorial it’s been this way,
We work, study and play during the day.
Sleep rejuvenate us throughout the night…
Or else we would be an awful sight.
Early to bed, early to rise
Makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise.

If I don't, I upset my sleeping pattern for the whole week. And I get grumpy when I'm tired. But only a few hours a night is usually enough for me.
