Yes it snow there during winter. Japan is very beautiful, is the most advanced country I ever been to. Japan has dozens of major cities, which play an important role in Japan's culture, heritage and economy. Japan is a leading nation in the fields of scientific research, technology, machinery, and medical research with the world's third largest budget for research and development at $130 billion, after the United States and China with over 677,000 researchers. Some of Japan's more important technological contributions are found in the fields of electronics, machinery, industrial robotics, optics, chemicals, semiconductors and metals. Japan leads the world in robotics, having produced QRIO, ASIMO, and Aibo, and possesses more than half (402,200 of 742,500) of the world's industrial robots used for manufacturing. It is also home to six of the world's 15 largest automobile manufacturers and is home to seven of the world 20 largest semiconductor sales leaders.
Japan is famous for their bullet train(world's fastest train) and sakura.

It does snow in Japan. Of course more in the north than the south. I live in the southern most prefecture of Kyushu and we usually get at least one or two heavy snow falls every winter, but this winter, nothing yet. But there have been a few flurries in the mountains, but that is about it. Way up north, there has been a ton of snow. In central Japan, there has been a limited amount of snow that hasn't stuck.
Best wishes.
