Actually we are mere pawns in the larger game of life and universe. Life is nothing but greediness. Long ago some molecules combined together and realised that it was mutually beneficial for them to remain in combination. Since then these greedy molecules have been trying to find ways to exist symbiotically for a longer time. This greediness is life and we are born keep the greedy behavior alive.
