you need to look in your local paper, there might be somebody whos looking for them, failing that advertise them on e bay

Have you checked E-Bay? or perhaps Sothebys? My Father-in Law, while in WW II, sent home numerous German medals, 2 swords, numerous insignias, he was also in a raid where they actually caught the Germans in the act of burning documents and photos of which he was able to confiscate these unbelievable photos of Hitler himself in various meetings and such. Sothebys refused to recognize any of it as they do not deal in or with the "spoils of war".
