It became a police state in January 2001 when the dicktator stole the office of the president. Had he ever read a book, George Orwell's "1984" would have been his favorite along with "Mein Kampf" This mindless, heartless thief thinks nothing of invading people's privacy, disregarding The Constitution, and doing whatever the hell he pleases all in the name of terrorism. This is just a guise to justify his illegal activities. He has no moral compass for to do so would be to possess a heart and he does not. He is no different than the tyrants of yesteryear except that he claims that god is on his side which makes him even more despicable.

The new century has brought the madmen out of their think tank lairs and they have recruited the mentally ill puppet George W. Bush to carry out their global hegemony. The project for a New American century is globalization and world domination by the U.S. and Britain and Israel. (Britain and Isreal will soon learn that the U.S. has NO intention of sharing the world with them either...). As dissent mounts, the police state will utilize the concentration camps they're building and keep right on bulldozing the U.S. constitution. CNN will soon air the short segment of a report of Israel's involvement in 9/11as investgated by researcher Christopher Bollwyn. The role of the U.S. was to cover it up and together with crime buddy Britain, the "Project" is off and...running...

What makes you think this is something new? Do some reading on the McCarthy era.
Freedom is not a state that exist on its own in perpetuity. Freedom is an unnatural state, and there are always forces trying to take freedom away. Every generation must fight for its freedom. Every generation must redefine freedom.
It's now your turn.

America had become a police state for intervening in almost all international disputes. Likewise, Americans had been addicted to their favorite pastimes like football, baseball and other games but are keen of keeping their jobs. What had become of America now? Many deemed that it is turning into becoming a socialist state.

It doesn't take long for the Warfare State to become the Police State. After all, when you question the government you are giving aid and comfort to the enemy, right? Listen to what Gates said yesterday.

We are already into ORWELL'S 1984. No habeas corpus protection, torture is authorized, and Haliburton is building concentration camps. Bush once said he would prefer being a dictator. The downhill slope from Decider to Dictator is not very long.

I am shocked & dismayed at the level of apathy among middle-class Americans....I wonder what it will take to get their heads out of the sand but more importantly will it be too late? In my opinion after amnesty passes is too late!

Do you still have the right to speak freely, vote, write your elected officials, and not incriminate yourself? Then it's not a police state.

Ummm, yah. You just getting around to noticing? Everywhere I look, especially after 9/11, people are carrying on about fighting for freedom, freedom's so great, etc. What do they know about freedom? We haven't been free for decades.
