Why are people still voicing fear and loathing toward President Bush? Are his days not numbered? Is he not isolated? Isn't everything ok now the Democrats run both Houses? Enlighten me please ...

He's been relegated largely to "lame duck"status, but that doesn't mean he's the janitor who locks up Congress every night. He's still one powerful chimpanzee.

We have 3072 dead and 22,000 wounded in Iraq. We have a $9 trillion debt and the Iraq occupation will cost working class tax payers over $2 trillion. The next ten years are a total failure. Bush is also responsible for Sept. 11th. and the Federal failures in New Orleans. I do not hate Bush, i hate the bad policy decisions he has made. With a Clinton/Edwards win in 2008 Democrats will be in control of the White House for 8 years. They will need far more than that to fix all the Republican blunders. Since Bush will veto any legislation good for all Americans and the working class tax payers, that makes the only option for Democrats the Impeachment of Bush and Cheney. That would make Nancy Pelosi the most powerful woman on Earth. BTW, what you read is not "fear and loathing" it's just facts. I fear and loath the attacks on our Constitution from all in politics who take a oath to protect and defend it. That is not fear of Bush just the rape of our rights.

We voice 'fear and loathing' about Bush in the same manner we do about Pol Pot, Pinochet and Amin et al because he has committed atrocities for which he will 'not' be held accountable for... and this was allowed to happen under a democratic regime as opposed to the other three - I ask you....???!

Amen, you just said what I've been saying to all of my fellow Democrat. Forget lame-duck Bush and let's move on to a happier agenda. But no, they are so filled with hate they see nothing else.

I actually agree with Bush on one thing, my friends keep saying that all of Bush's plans and programs are bogus and I say what is your alternative? That is the problem, they are so filled with hate and so against everything he does that they haven't even taken the time to formulate decent alternatives.

Go Bears!
