It`s a Sony Ericsson v6ooi.It keeps making me miss incoming calls
.Am I just old and slow?

You didn't say what company you are through, but I know for a fact through cingular/at&t you can call in to customer service and ask them to extend the time. Its something done in the computer. Hope this helps

Like the first person said, that is a function of your service company, not your phone. Call you customer service department and they can do two things; increase the amount of rings until the call times out or it can also be the amount of rings before your call is forwarded to voice mail, they can also increase that as well.

If you turn off your voicemail function then your phone rings for a long time rather than the short ringtime you are getting now

you can ask them how to extend the ringtime up to 30 seconds max

it is the number for o2 but they will be happy to help you for a general query like that - they are open 8 am to 8pm weekends

and 8am to 9pm weekdays : - )

mine is extended from 30 secs to 1 min by turning the voicemail off. if you can't do that yourself then your network will do it. i phoned t mobile and asked them to turn it off
