Are people really born gay!?

Question

I believe people are exposed to it (homosexuality),either by being molested, or by feeling that there not good enough (too ugly,ect..) for the opposite sex.

I mean "Gay" as in sexually attracted! Sexual Gratification obviously,can be achived otherwise.

I believe that people are born gay, there's things that I know that I did as a child that some other gay people did and it seems like a trait. I can't change who I am and god knows that I had a difficult time accepting something that I knew was unacceptable by religion and society but I got to a point where I couldn't deny myself the chance at love when I can only fall in love with other men.

Most certainly people are not born gay. Being gay is a demonic possession which makes people be gay. All other explanations are lame excuses for gay people to continue with their homosexual behaviour and attitude. I am not for homosexual bashing, but also I totally set limits to accepting them just like that. I do not want to hear their lame excuses about being molested, or that they are not good enough for the opposite sex and that being the reason why they are gay.Being molested is another topic which does need to be taken serious and has to be dealt with in all seriousness, but it should never be used as an excuse in such a way.

Im not sure about what causes it, but I don't remember choosing to be gay. I think I would have remembered making a decision as important as that one. I don't remember anyone asking me "do you want to like men or women?" much in the same way I don't remember answering the question "how tall would you like to be?" So, just as people are born with blond hair, short, skinny, etc, sexuality is a part of your body and not a choice.

I beleive something happens in the DNA of a person or in the womb that makes people gay. Even if it is something with environmental factors it is definately not a choice and it is definately not changeable. I dont think your guess about being to ugly... etc. is correct because that would seem like a conscious choice. Either way, there is nothing wrong with it and its ok to be gay.

Fact: Babies and children do not even come close to thinking about sexual attraction.

Family observation: Lack of love AND the other part of love called discipline from both parents. The my child can-do-no wrong mom and self-centered self-loathing father.

Personal questions - Would parents behavior really be an exceptable excuse for personal choice? How natural is it really when human beings, fruits and vegetables(required to maintain our health), and animals have features that are designed for reproduction for a purpose?

And please ~ don't go crying to what some see as mommy yahoo because people answer a question it's rather intrusive and self-loathing.

there are hundreds of reasons for sexual preferences .the ones you mention are true,although many gay men can be considered good looking ,not all of them are uggly
but there are many more reasons,

you dont have to be molested to be exposed to the pleasure of sex ,kids experiment or play with each other
if a boy with a stronger personallity plays with another ,they may get to like these games when they are young and continue as an adult , with out being born effeminate or being molested

deprived of the oposite sex is a reason .like guys on a dessert island with no women very likely will play with each other

in Arab countries many boys have sex with each other before they get married because of the strict religion,then become totaly hetero sexual.
the gay sex exist because the guys like to have sex .not worying too much what kind it is

some people become gay because they have sex much more often than hetero couples

many Native Americans will go with the village womenmen ,when they are young for the same reason

the sex drive is very strong and in Nature ,animals will have sex with anything if there is no willing female around

there are even gay fish who asume the female colorings to be able to swim through a cloud of sperms (wow)

,many people have the possibility of going both ways,and opertunity decides if it happens

then there are those who from birth have stronger female tendencies

contamination by agrochemicals with the water flows ,raises the acid levels of the PH and many more gay people are born because the sexuality is affected with the develloping fetus ,because the pregnant women drink contaminated water.

there are rumors that governments raise PH levels of popular consumer drinks to produce more homosexuals to combat overpopulation

all in all gay ness is much more Natural than many people will like to admit ,social acceptability in a given society is another matter .

at times it is classified as sinfull taboo even illegal (Christian or Muslim religious countries and depending on the time in history)

and in other societies it is considdered totally normal (Roman,Greek.Spartan;Babylonian,Olmecca,,Aztecan and many many more )

You are born with the predisposition for homosexuality.
If molestation were the cause there would be thousands more than there are now, and quite often I am "hit on" by heterosexual females so self-esteem and attractiveness are not an issue.
I have to laugh at those who babble on about "God" as though their mythology actually has any bearing on the real world..........

too ugly?? have you seen some of the lesbians around?? they are NOT ugly.

anyway, the debate over whether homosexuality is by nature or nurture is an ongoing one, but scientists do agree that there is no control over it by the person. its not something u get "exposed to" and get, nor is it related to abuse.
it's just the way they are, the way god made them to be if u will. don't discriminate.
