An atom is the smallest invisible unit of an element.
A molecule is a combination of atoms held together by chemical bonds through their electrons.

So calcium carbonate contains atoms of calcium, carbon, and oxygen bound together. It must be a molecule.

When you divide a pure material , you arrive at a limit under that the material does not exist. This is called the atom or the molecules.

They are only about 110 types of atoms , from which some are radioactive.

But a molecule is formed of many atoms. in opposite to atoms, there number are illimited and only restricted by the imagination of chemists

Ex : the molecule of water is composed of 2 atoms hydrogen and 1 of oxygen

hydrogen is an atom , oxygen is an atom whereas the compound
H2O is a molecule

the atom is the basic unit, while the molecules are combinations of atoms stuck together. calcium carbonate is made of molecules. Anything that has a single name to it, that is the same as it is in the periodic table, is an atom. The other stuff are molecules.

Atoms are the building blocks of molecules. H2O for example is one hydrogen atom and 2 oxygen atoms to form one water molecule. Calcium carbonate would be a molecule of calcium and carbon.

molecules are made up several atoms. like carbon dioxide is made of molecules which consist of 3 atoms, 2 oxygen and one carbon
im not carbonates are molecules, so calcium carbonates are calcium atoms connected to carbonate molecules, but i dont think u can call the entire thing a molecule

An atom is the smallest common particle, and is indivisible by non nuclear means. A molecule is a combination of atoms into another substance. Calcium carbonate is a combination of calcium, carbon and three oxygen atoms. CaCO3

ok gemma
atoms form molecule and it differS from asubstance to another
e.g you have amolecule of oxyegn that is o2 i.e amolecule of oxygen is formed of 2 atoms
and also many gases carbonn dioxide co2 &nitrogen
and it's rarely you find an atom of oxygen
and about calcium carbonate ca(Hco3)2 is asubstance of molecules of atoms one calcium and two bicarbonate and bicarbonate is of 1H IC 3 O
