You guys will be fine. The biggest worry in my opinion is an arms race with Pakistan and dealing with the world's largest population of HIV and AIDs. The people of India have given many gifts to the world and I hope will continue to do so.

Your obviously confused.
The question you should ask is whether the world will be able to cope up with the rising technological advances being developed by the the darn Indians.
Remember 25 % of the Software Engineers in Silicon valley are Indians.
Many of the Top Dog Project Engineers and Managers with the Who is Who in Hardware, Software and Internet technologies are Indians. Bangalore and Hyderabad today are running shoulder to shoulder with the best in the business where core competencies and development of cutting edge technology is concerned.
Vinod Dham widely known as the father of the Pentium processor, and that was years back. Today the flash memories used in Flash drives, I-Pods etc were co invented by him. I bet you dont think the name Vinod Dham could belong to a Russian or Japanese Engineer. Anyway he is not the only one, but rather one among the thousands.
Just try googling him.
Anyway, I cant go about listing all the achievements, just google your self away. And while your at it, click and go through the links mentioned below!
Best of Luck

Sure. Humans are very adaptable. India has a better chance than the US to cope because they need to more we do.
India's biggest problem is the same as China, too many people and too much pollution.
Will they put advancement ahead of the quality of life for everyone?
