first get the headers of that EMAIL (this will vary depend on ur mail program)

there u can see the originated ip!! thats the ip which email come from

Press the show full header button...now available in yahoo also
it will show the ip address in the format
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx

Tell us which service/apliaction you are using so I can tell you then. This is easy to do but varries depending on which service.
