Waterloo is on the south side of the River Thames.
Kings Cross is on the north.

You could walk it in 30 minutes or so.

It's more than half an hours walk! Who walks at 6 miles an hour?!? That is (slow) jogging pace.

3 miles would take the average person an hour to walk. 45 minutes if you really went for it.

its not that far but better to get the tube me thinks.

45 mins walk I would say, or 10 mins in a taxi.
