Always negotiate!! I dont know what the spread is on a new bike..my guess would be about 1200 from dealer cost to MSRP. Just bear in mind that the dealer does need to realize a profit to stay in business so dont make a ridiculous offer.

Well if you are paying cash (which I strongly suggest) here is what you do you walk in the store pick the one you want and get to the closing tables and pull out only anywhere from $7300-7500 just depending on how much you want to save really. Then say that X amount of dollars is all you can do. If they say that they can't do that then say, "I bet they can at your competitor" but do these with a little bit of drama if you would and dont get to married to the purchase because if you do you will not have any power over you purchase and then you are salesmen bate and he smelled you from the parking lot and you WILL NOT get a deal. Let me know how it goes I'm looking into buying me a bike soon. But I have done this with alot of my bigger purchase but it always came to me with patience.

If they happen to have a leftover '06 model, you might negotiate a few hundred off on it. Honda dealers don't usually give much and their sportbikes are very popular. Good luck.

Try this link, get a report for the bike your interested in and take it with you to the dealer. At that point it's up to the two of you what you end up paying for the bike.

It's always worth a shot. My experience is that Honda dealers don't bargain much. Why do they charge so much? Because they can....

most definitely. Try getting prices from different dealers that sell those bikes and let them compete.
