DOC8: This is not what the CIA thought when they went to the Justice Dept for an investigation into who did it. Where is your documentation.

Michael: This was an attempt to get even with Joseph Wilson, but destroying the career of his wife. They happened to take out an active CIA NOC field operative in the process.

Libk: that is the myth you suscribe to. Again why is the CIA going to the Justice Dept with a formal complaint?

It is interesting how many conservatives want to hold former Pres. Clinton up to scrutiny for dallying in his private life, yet when valid facts about trespassing security laws in this country are brought to light against people in the Bush Administration, they want to downplay it and say nothing happened, isn't it? It seems to me there are some very skewed values there, for people who wrap themselves in a cloak of morality. Go figure.
As for Cheney being one of the instigators of the outing of Ms. Plame I will wait and see what Fitzgerald has up his sleeve to out the perpetrators. Let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if Cheney had a hand in it, along with Rove.
As an aside to Stupid Marxist: Ms. Plame was far from being a desk jockey. Go here to see what her job actually was:

It would behoove you to stay informed instead of swallowing whole the spinlines on a matter, no matter which side they are coming from.

Ditto to doc8.Richard Armitage(not a fan of Cheney) was the one who leaked the name. The Libby trial is a big cya dog and pony show for the prosecutor Peter Fitzgerald since he spent all that time and money pursuing the wrong people.
Lets not forget that this whole stupid thing started because the President(accurately) quoted a British intelligence report.

More will come out as this trial proceeds.

We're going to find out 1) about the fabrications that went ino the justification for the invasion and 2) anyone who had the audaciity to question the administration found themselves targets of Cheney's office.

She was no secret and no investigation was needed. Wilson used this for political purposes to damage the administration and that is the whole story.

She wasn't an opperative. That whole situation was started by the left to win elections. She and her husband should be on trial too. It is wrong to put a man on trial for a non crime.

Exactly as Doc8 said.

Sorry, no conspiracy. Just a case of more lefties trying to damage the Bush Administration.

Don't know; don't care

Plame was a desk jockey, not some undercover La Femme Nakita. And her retard husband was a traitor.
