Why can't we live till about 90 or whatever and look the same as we did at our best and then.................

Instead of that, we have to watch ourselves gradually deteriorate in front of our very own eyes day by day, and unless we have money,there's absolutely nothing we can do about it, is there?
How cruel is that?
And people say, what a wonderful life!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a wonderful life! , but cruel in that sense too, I agree with you. The other end of life is a real lemon for most of us.

On the other hand - if this is all there is, why not just enjoy it no matter how you look/ feel, squeeze the best you can manage out of each day, even tho some days thats not much.

I reckon that those who do this feel happier and live longer because of that -so happiness is a bit of an anti ageing treatment.

We seemed to have survived the 'where before' bit and come through unscathed, maybe there is a 'here after' bit and the same rules apply!! Fingers crossed!!

AAHHH common it is not so bad. I see 80 year old ladies riding on bicycles and they are so fit. I would not mind living till i am ancient but then i must have the right amount of cash to live comfortably and have someone to look after me. Coming to think about it nahhhhh i will rather jump of beachy head when i reach the age where i cannot do anything for myself.:)

If we didn't show our age, that would be a trip. A guy could marry a drop dead gorgeous woman and a week later find out he'd married someone 67 years older than he (when she dropped dead.)
