I've listened to quite a few of his songs... examples: my confession, you raise me up, etc. I wonder if he's christian, or if he just hides it well?

josh groban is epsicopalian, which is a sect of christianity, yes.
according to wikipedia, "Josh Groban was born in Los Angeles, California, to a Jewish American father (a descendant of Polish and Russian immigrants) and a Norwegian American mother. His father converted to Christianity upon marriage, and Groban was raised an Anglican-Episcopalian."

also, josh groban did not write "you raise me up". many other artists have sang that too. in many interviews josh has stated that the reason he likes that song was that it could mean so many different things to so many different people. "You" could be God, a lover, a friend, a parent, etc etc.
He's never outwardly proclaimed that he was Christian, but he does celebrate Christmas, and who's to know how much of a practicing Christian he is, you know? he's very good at keeping his life private and keeping out of the tabloids and all that ;]
hope that helped =)

yes, josh groban is a christian singer. you are right. that he hides it well because it took me a while to see anything about being a christian. but i am positive that you raise me up, and most of his songs he has a hint of christian lyrics. hope i helped.

I have often wondered that myself. I love his music, his voice is smooth and easy to listen to. I've noticed that on many sites, it links his music into the "contemporary Christian" category based on his style of music. I hope you get a truthful answer as I've been curious too. :) Have a great day!

I thought I heard somewheres that he was Jewish, but I really can't be for sure b/c his songs are a little misleading.

Yes he is a practising christian, why?
Should he wave the flag of righteousness to confirm he is one, maybe he is just happy in himself without trying to convert others...
I see nothing wrong in the way he handles himself or behaves,I love his singing voice...one of the best tenors around..♥
