Liam and Leon are nice names you don't hear everyday.

Romeo has too many cultural connotations. Liam is really, really overpopular. Leon is ok. I like Samyar and Keyvan. Just be aware that most people will say Keyvan like Kevin.

For other Persian names, I like:

Caspar / Jasper / Kaspar - treasurer
Cyrus - cloud
Darin - precious present (so nice!)
Arman - ideal, inspiration (former classmate)
Kamran - successful, fortunate
Kian - 2nd Persian dynasty

Liam is a good name, but according to the answers here, it seems like everyone would name their kid Liam. Try to to find something that's different, but won't get the kid made fun of in school. Juts because YOU think it sounds cool doesn't mean a bunch of 1st graders will. Anything too outlandish might leave the kid scarred for life.
