(Personially, I believe ANY PLACE that serves to underage kids shoiuld be shut down. esp if they know that they are but are more worried about who's being seen there)

Agreed...the bars should take responsibility for obvious under age drinkers. Paparazzi should back off of this girl and let her get her head on straight..if she wasn't so hounded and fabrications printed about her, perhaps she wouldn't be in the situation she is in now.

I do agree, but just for clarification (b/c I'm not certain) wasn't the legal age for drinking 18 in the states she was partying down in? I don't know that's why I'm asking. Or is 21 the national standard all across the board? Anyway, she really isn't in re-hab. She's engaging in a cheap ploy/ publicity stunt that most actors and actresses need to be at least 25 or 30 years old to embark on.
But she has every 'right' you might say to be an alcoholic. Her parents have whored her out to Hollywood since she was like 5 years old, every twist and tumultuous tremor in her parents personal lives and marriage have been needlessly dragged out by either her mother or father (or the press), both have tried to pin her as the reason they're bringing it up. She's practically been raised by Hollywood and that isn't a good up-bringing at all. Most teens start using alcohol and illicit substances to evade responsibility for their own lives or to take the edge off the pain they feel as a result of external stresses. They find it more difficult to obtain these things, b/c they are illegal and they're not stars. Lindsay on the other hand only has to say "do you know who I am?" and any vendor will cave and give her the booze.

She's 20 years old. Anybody who drinks to the point of needing rehab has not taken any personal responsibility for their drinking. It's not the bars fault. She'd find a way to drink anywhere.

Because the drinking age in America is ridiculously high. If she were from any other country, she would be legally allowed to drink. I don't think the alcohol is the problem though. Besides, she's not in rehab anymore. She's shooting a movie.
