unless a comment is passed that is deliberately intended to offend someone with regards to thier colour, religeon, origins ect then i dont think its racist.
for example if someone uses the word paki,it is regarded as a racist remark but what if that person was a bit uneducated and used it as a descriptive,is he a racist?he meant no offence.it may have caused offence but that fact does not make him a racist.
i think brannding people like the bb contestants as racists takes the severity out of the actions of the obvious racists who brick asian shops and take the piss out of restraunte and take away establishments on a saturday night.
THESE ARE THE REAL RACISTS

mrs badgrumble
read again ..did i use "some people","everyone","others"or "them"?
no. but i will now...
some people choose not to see what they read and like to assume what is meant rather than see what is meant

I think the government keeps all the races/relgions/cultures at each others throats whenever and wherever possible. This enables them to get away with the war crimes,mind-control,and paedophilia they commit.

yes it is very easy to get labelled racist for what is quite often an innocent remark. a good example could be that earlier i answered a question on here and i used the expression a bit of black, which is used around here quite often as an every day saying with not the slightest racist meaning in it. but could possibly be taken as a slur. and on the the other side of the coin i would'nt give a thought to anyone saying a bit of white.

i once worked for a company owned by indians and one day i was talking to the boss about another worker who i thought was indian too,my boss looked at me and said " he is not indian,he is a paki " i was so shocked, not because it offended me but because it was funny to hear it from someone i would describe as being a paki!
i admit i can be a bit racist at times but when it comes down to it i believe there is good and bad in everyone, although i would like to add,i have tried to smile at muslims in the street (especially after all the terrorist bombings) to see if they smile back and NO they don't!! why should we try when THEY DON'T!!!!!

This is the exact point I have been trying to make for weeks!!! People just need to make issues out of nothing to feel like they make a difference and can sit comfy on their soapboxes.

I agree, a slip of the tongue is far different than a slip of a brick though a window.

People brand themselves as racist; they just let others know they are.
