Dubai is an expensive place to live. If your employer sends you there, you're likely to have that compensated, but if you are going there to look for work, keep it in mind. The Gulf is expensive overall.

as i am here for 15 years. dubai has changed alot. 10 yrs back. if you have 1000 dhs ($1=3.65dhs) you can decently live including family. now, these conditions are changed a lot. house rent is going up and up.

Dubai is very expensive place.Only people with higher income can afford living there.The rent of appartments is very high.
your income should be above 10000 dirhams monthly to live there with family
