You yourself make a side for fight :) ,,, tell them if they like fighting, they've got a new contendant. fight them seriously until they stop fighting in fear of losing you.

Do not choose side, this will only alienate one friend or the other and if you do not want to lose them this would be the right way to go. Tell them both that you dislike this behaviour and that you refuse to be involved in their fights. However, should the issue be something that is long standing, you can always act as a Rikki Lake, Tara, Oprah, Jerry Springer Type mediator by making them come to the concilliatory table and air out those differences and then make them talk it all out until they work out on their own. At times the third person can see what is wrong and be able to point out the wrong in the diferent sides of the argument.

This will be real hard to do cus they might not want to listen but pick a time when they are not fighting and not all hot at each other. Explain to them that you love being their friend, and all that but because you love them all equally, you simply will not take sides in whatever argument they are having.
and then, next time there is a fight, remind them of what you said about picking sides and then do not allow them to pressure you into choosing even if it means not hanging out with them for awhile.
good luck!

Drama, some people feed off it and other people are secure enough about themselves to act like decent human beings.
Make it clear that you wont play into their petty arguments and if they persist just separate yourself from the whole situation. Leave when they begin to fight. Even if you have to call for a cab. the ride home isn't worth the headaches. If later communication turns towards the subject of their disagreements and your opinions on the subject. Just end the conversation. You are not their therapist.

Just say that you love them both and that it's not fair for you to pick only one of them because you want them both and tell them to contact you when they have become friends again. Then leave them at that so that they can sort things out. Do not pick sides.

Try to balance your views and tell each side what you think is reasonable and what is not. Soon, most of them will leave you and you will find yourself in peace. True friends don't try that sort of games.

Just state that you will not chose sides and then refuse to talk about it with them. Eventually they will catch on and quit dragging you into it.
