i'm not very familiar yet with all the capabilities of AVG free anti virus, i downloaded it, but i'm not sure if it can block worm intrusions, since i didn't read anything about worms from its brief description,

Yes the free programs have just as many options as the pay one and some are better.

Yep, an antivirus doesn't just support certain viruses, a worm is a virus, AVG is an antivirus program...

I have had AVG for a number of years, and yes it stops worms, update it every day.
I have had no problems with it.
I think its about to be a pay for use system soon

Go to www.grisoft.com its free Hit anti virus then download it its safe

It will prevent from downloadin worms if AV is resident

yup it sure can block a worm becuse i had it before
