you know the saying time heals all wounds? I don't believe that's true, while after some time it gets (for the lack of a better term) easier to cope with it, to lose someone close to you will always be a hurt to you. You'll be somewhere and hear something or someone will do something that reminds you of him/her and you'll think of that person, but then those are the risk we take as human beings when we let people into our lives. The hardest thing in this world is loving the people around you, that are special to you and knowing that you may someday lose them.

I wish you the best and am truely sorry for the loss of your friend.

If this is a serious question, then you have my deepest sympathy. The only way to get over the death of a close friend is time, allow yourself to grieve. Maybe you could perform some sort of tribute gig? You could donate any money to his family. Doing something positive will probably help. Don't use drugs or alcohol to cope, you'll only be making more problems for youself.

I don't know where you are (geographically) but there is a website that has details of bereavement counselling that may be of help:

Good Luck.

Well you realy cant ask that Question if he was your friend then it will be harder than ever to get over it and the worst thing to do is try to replace him it will only make you feel bad inside so just cope and maby even cry but the one thing you have to do is let it all out

Sorry for your loss. I think more importantly how do you handle the loss of a "friend."
Hope he wasn't the front man all the everyone loves the front man. He'd be tough to replace. Sounds cold I know, but it's true.

actually, its hard when someone you feel close too is lost to death. you really don't get over it. you just learn to accept and live with it. its hard but time heals all wounds. as time goes by you will learn to live with the sad events of life.

Time will heal but if you are unable to cope, seek the help of a good homeopath since they can help you.

Carry on and use your time on stage to honour and celebrate his life, he will still be performing with you.
