It is wrong and not intended to be that way. It's sinful. To many brides getting married in the purity of white that are not pure.
How sweet the wedding that is pure.

On a personal note, I don't really encourage living together before marriage simply because it is an act which degrades a person's dignity especially women. Imagine facing persecution from other people that you've lost your virginity when in actual fact you haven't even been engaged in any sexual orientated activities with your partner, how would you feel? Exactly, total humiliation and it feels as though someone has robbed you of a chance to live with dignity. As to your question on whether there should be movies depicting this scenario, I would say yes... it might be a good idea to portray that kind of lifestyle so as to educate the younger generation and make them think twice about the consequences before embarking on such a pursuit!

The sexual value system of traditional Indian society is struggling to adapt to the realities of Western culture. But in terms of living together before marriage, I believe it might be helpful to relieve some of the old attitudes and oppression against Indian women. It would give them a freedom they need.

I became pregnant at 16. My boyfriend and I moved in together when I found out. I am now 24 and we are still loving together with our daughter. So you tell me, is it good or bad? Our daughter sees us as a family not just her mom and dad living together raising her. We had made it 8 years and intended to make it 80 more.

In my opinion, I believe that living together before marriage is ok.

I don't think it should be on a movie or television where it can influence many young people. For young people to live together before getting married could be a choice they make to make sure they are compatible.

Before marriage there is no tension. After marriage there is lot of tensions, lot of responisibities. In short After marriage, everyone think about his responsibilities. The time before marriage is most enjoyable. But the marraige is not bad. It develops the carrers of human being.

i am indian myself but i have been living abroad in Australia and China for almost 10 yrs. i think it depends where u live. if you try to have live-in relationship in India...not a smart idea. I have lived with my ex german gf in China. so depends which country and what kinda society r u in. don't try to change history of 5000 yrs in india by trying to start live-in relationship. it just wont work in eyes of "Society". but again u can be rebelious and try to do it but i am telling u, it just wont work in that country.

I thinkk it is a good idea.....it is sooooooo easy to get married and so hard to get divorced....better to try it out and see how you get on in day to day life, makes much more sense...we have a cuntry (USA) here where the only ones profitting from failed marriages are a bunch of lawyers, don't pad their pockets...good luck.
