do u think that the recently introduced compulsory subject i.e.environmental education is actually necessary? (its such a huge bk and with already so much portions 2 complete in the other subjects,i think it is a sort of a headache)

I, agree with you. I am also studying in xth standard and i feel it to be a heavy burdun on my head .the context of this subject is really a boring matter.it contains all the useless knowleage which we are reading since eight years. moreover due to this subject we cant give proper time to study other subjects,physics.....
so, ithink it must not be introduced as a compulsury subject. if still it can be eradicated then i will be very thankfull to ICSE board..

Actually, it is very necessary but they should not have introduced it now. students would get panic if the book is very thick .My advice to u -learn the green house effect,pollution and other such general but important topics.I'm sure you will do well. good luck!

even i am a student of ICSE but i tell that EVS is a great interesting subject and if u study now its easier in intermediate if u opt for BiPC

Ya, of course E.E. a bit boring but still it has a lot of uses as it helps to have a environment friendly life.
