actually it is a pretty difficult question you see, I've been thinking on it ever since I started taking interest in comics and supers. still if you want to know then HE-man is number 1. the second place goes to, not a single hero but a team of heroes in which there are only three human characters, else others are anthromorphic( kinda super animals) characters. I dont remember the shows name, but it was a HE-man like character his wife and his son with incredible pets like a ten legged, stone throwing rhino through his broken horn, a fire dragon who can also throw beams of energy through his tail, a huge king kong sized gorilla, two "mr. fantastic" father and son pets, which have even better powers than mr.fantastic. it's an old hannah barbara superhero cartoon. 3rd being any teen superhero you know, they are all my favorite. the idea of a teen being superhero always amazes me, hence most of my favorite supers are like teen titans, power packed etc.

Hi ya',
Superman, big blue, is common because he's perfect (Jesus complex?), but mine are the less than perfect ones:
4.Wolvie....but you mentioned him....
3.Green Lantern...has to be creative and fight off everyone, even from outer space, can create weapons based on imagination...has temper problems and loses control...once recreated his entire destroyed city...had to do time once for DUI (why the heck didn't he fly?__hmmm). Gets sabotaged by his own little green men in charge of distributing the power to the ring (kinda like da' Rules in Fairly Odd Parents). Often kicked out of the Corps.
2.Iron Man....a crippled scientist....BUILDS his OWN costume for power and modifies it to resume functioning...ie walking....haunted by alcoholism and is an angry genius. Very much like "House" from TV.
1.Batman...the dark Knight....Not alien, no gimmicks, not some stupid genetic accident, made all of his own gadgets....genius detective....martial arts master....is a mortal man and defends a whole city without a gun and he will not kill. Has enough psychological issues to fill arkaham asylum by himself, but he stays in control....always in control...oh yeah, I forgot, he's got control issues....haha.
