My Excel gym teacher says that I have lower back problems because I can't do squats properly. I'll would be doing everything right,focusing,looking at the cieling while doing it, deep breathing,ext. But when ever I go down to do my squats my heals always go up no matter what. Is it possible that I have lower back problems?If so what could have caused it?

Age:16(17 in March)
Height:5ft 4.5inches
Weight:112lbs
Body fat:21%(according to scale)

P.S. But my legs are really strong...a lot of the other excersizes I can do like 60lbs-150pounds for about 3-30 times daily.

Obviously the gym teacher is qualified to diagnose you with a medical problem when you don't even have symptoms. What medical school did he go to?

My apologies. However, your gym teacher should not be telling you that you have a problem that may not exist. Most likely it is that your heel cords are tight, but it is impossible to know without a physical examination. If you think you have a problem (usually a common symptom is pain) you should make an appointment with an orthopedist or physical therapist who can properly diagnose you.

In the meantime, try stretching your calves, hamstrings, hip flexors, and hip rotators. Any of these muscle groups could be limiting your ability to perform a normal squat.

I would say its more likely to be that your tendons at the back of the heel (Achilles tendon) is a little too short, or your leg muscle being well developed stops its relaxing as much as it should do;
