Abortion is a medical procedure that should ONLY be discussed between the woman & her doctor. I have no right to infringe in her privacy. I wouldnt want anyone to violate MY rights and tell me what to do with MY body. I have no right taking away a person's rights, born or unborn.

BUT, I am AGAINST abortion. I totally DESPISE abortion and if I were a woman Id never have one. BUT I am not a woman and would never know how it is to be one & wont JUDGE the circumstances of their abortion: whether they were raped, whether the pregnancy will endanger her or the baby, psychiatric problems etc. It is NOT my business. It is a sensitive medical issue btwn the patient & doctor, an MD.

Im not pretentious to think that others cant think for theirselves to be morally right. I've belief in other people & the choices they make. Taking away freedom to choose would kill the idealogy of what America stands for.
I'm pro choice, since Jesus taught compassionate, love & not to judge.

I understand what you say and appreciate it. i'm professional-determination and not in any respect having had to make the alternative concerning having an abortion i will not in any respect choose a woman that has to make this determination. i don't experience all people has the right to inform a woman she might want to carry a baby that both she doesn't pick, cant protect, change into conceived by potential of rape/incest, might want to be born so disabled it more effective then likely might want to be left to stay its existence residing in a mattress in some nursing homestead. Adoption is tremendous, tell that to the thousands of children waiting to be followed. the in uncomplicated words time I have something adverse to say about abortion because certainly a fetus can no longer stay outdoors the human body till 24 weeks gestation or maybe at that age does no longer survive without existence lengthy incapacity, is even as human beings use it as a variety of birth control That being reported i imagine human beings opt to understand women those who have aboritons more effective typically then no longer do no longer take the alternative gently or make it spur of the prompt and could no longer be judged. And this isn't in accordance with any religious beliefs basically own opinion. besides to I basically study a reaction to this submit by potential of somebody else and that i elect to understand how are you going to help the demise penalty and be antagonistic to abortion in case you've faith abortion is homicide then what precisely is the demise penalty?

Are you saying you are personally against killing an innocent baby, but you don't have a problem with other people killing their babies?
If you saw a mom that was about to chop off a one year old child's head would you try and stop her?
If you would why would you let her do that 1 year and a day ago?
At least 90% of pro life people do believe that abortion is ok if giving birth will kill the mother.

As for Jesus saying not to judge I think you need to read the entire passage, and maybe a few other passages in the Bible including
Ephesians 5:11-And have no fellowship with the unfruitfull works of darkness, but rather reprove them;
2 Tim 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season , out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Luke 17:3
Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

1 Timothy 5:20
Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

Titus 1:13
This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply,
that they may be sound in the faith;

John 7:24
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

The word rebuke means to to criticize sharply .

The word reprove means to to scold or correct usually gently or with kindly intent
This can not be done without judging someone.

Jesus was against hypocritical judgments not all judgments.

Exp. If you have cheated on you wife, you shouldn't judge a guy for doing a double take when a cute girl walks by.

You should never judge anyone if what they are doing isn't as bad as what you have done in the past.

Now that we know you can call people names. Why don't you show us you can do more by telling me what is wrong with my argument.

Kudos! My thoughts exactly. We should not be bogged down in this argument when we face much more serious problems. I am against abortion, but feel it's a personal decision that a woman should make with her physician. In fact, many women that choose abortion come to regret it later in life. Likewise, we can not generalize this debate down to right and wrong. Consider the means by which the pregnancy may have occured: rape or incest and why would one want to subject a woman to a painful birth.

It's OK to be against abortion. I don't like it either, because as a nurse I know it can get physically complicated. But I also believe strongly it should remain a safe medical procedure, and remain strictly legal.
It should never be used as birth control. We need to be teaching people how not to get pregnant in the first place, so abortion isn't an issue. You Christians need to realize people are going to have sex -- a lot of it -- and throwing Jesus at them isn't going to stop it. "Abstinence Education" is a tragic joke. You guys need to instruct kids properly, and stop telling lies about condoms and other contraception. Join the rest of us in the 21st century.
For the pro-lifers, it seems abortion isn't a life issue; they seem to look at it as a convenient side-step of the "punishment" for illicit sex: Pregnancy. I'd have a lot more respect for the leaders of the "pro-life" movement if they were a lot more concerned with the life that's already here. The fact they elect presidents who routinely cut funding for programs to help the poor and hungry tells me how much they "respect life." It appears they are more "pro-BIRTH." As soon as that fetus they "saved" is born, they turn their backs and walk away (especially if that child isn't white), then call Rush Limbaugh to complain about "unwed welfare mothers" using up their tax money.
But I applaud you for staying out of it. Way too many of us men think it's our issue, too. We couldn't be more wrong.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I mean really who am I to tell anyone what to do with there own life. I mean that issue has forced me to really think about me and how I'll be viewed in the eyes of God. I mean am I right about sitting on the fence politically or what? My heart tells me that I really cannot tell another human being you are damned if you do that, although I feel it is so wrong. Dang even right now my head is circling. And I am never indecisive about pretty much anything else. AAAAGGGGHHHH

I believe most people are the same as you. I think that it's a matter of knowing that it's not right for you but that you think it is wrong to make decisions for others. In my opinion, you, like many people would rather not deal with the issue because it is so difficult. But here's the important thing. Is it a human life or not? If it is, we have some difficult decisions to make.

I think until you are the woman looking down at the positive pregnancy test we men can never know what it feels like so we should leave it at pro-choice! I agree with you, if a woman decides to abort it's her choice - or 'sin' but the dude who put the baby there is guilty (probably) of a sin too... does God put sins on a scale and weigh them??? Who knows.

Nobody is really pro abortion, but people are pro choice, who are we to tell others how they should live their life? It is easy being anti-abortion if you know you never have to face that choice. It is more compassionate to respect other often very difficult choice.

Congratulations, you are the voice of reason. This is a divisive issue and views are strongly held on both sides. It is right and reasonable for you to have your own strongly held opinions of what you would do based on your own beliefs and values - and it is admirable for you to respect the beliefs and values of others. While I differ with you on the ethics of abortion, I respect your position.

If everybody practiced mutual respect, just imagine what a better place this would be!

You are a typical fence sitter, who is attempting to claim the higher moral ground. Face it, if you are prochoice then by that very statement you accept a woman`s right to choose death for her baby. If you accept this then you cannot logically or rationally claim that you are against abortion. You are either a supporter or not...you are a supporter of baby killing.
