MOTORCYCLE ACC. FEB.2005. THROWN ABOUT 40 FT OFF OF BIKE WITH WINDSHIELD SMASHED AGAINST UPPER THIGH MUSCLE. SURFACE TOUCH I CAN FEEL BUT DEEP IS NUMB FEELING. NO PROBLEM WALKING, JUST STANDING FOR LONGER THAN10 MIN. WHY? WHAT CAN I DO? BOTTOM OF RIGHT FT. FEELS LIKE A SEVERE BRUISE WHEN I STAND ON MY FEET FOR LONG TIME? WHAT CAN I DO?

Sounds like nerve damage, which is probably perminate if this accident occured 2yrs ago. When youre walking, youre different muscle groups, where one gets to rest and the other works. When you stand still, both groups are working so your leg starts to hurt. If you have pain behind the leg that travles into the bottom of your foot, its most likely sciatic nerve damage.

What can you do? You you see an orthopedic dr or a neurologist. Some strong antiinflamatories might help too, give it a try. Goodluck
