Entry is guaranteed. All you have to do is report this Q for whatever you find violating about it, but IT'S TRUE!!!!
Many years ago, in the late 70's early 80's, when computers were becoming commercially ubiquitous, there were no accepted qualifications in the field of programming. This was before "Political Correctness".
Simple demographics empirically demonstrated that certain racial groups showed different talents. e.g. Black guys are good at athletics (etc etc etc)
It was also demonstrable that "Asian" People were the most intelligent. What is not well recorded is that "Asian" in those days meant "Japanese and Chinese". As China was pretty much closed to the outside world at the time, what it really meant was "Japanese".
But now India has a reputation for being the home of super-smart outsource staff. It's a load of bollox. Stop buying from companies that outsource to India.
They're racist, classist, and not very bright at all.

Haleysmom:
You're completely missing the point. Indians are incorrectly percieived as being "good at their job" (whatever that job may be). They're not - I've spent well over twenty years working in BIG software, stuff that I'm not allowed to tell you about without immediately killing you (get it? Defence Industry? Huh?) and I have to deal with frackin' Indian call centres daily on a professional basis - It's prevalent in our personal lives, too - banking, insurance, even trying to make an enquiry about railway timetales.
In the commercial software I work with, the language code ENG, which everywhere else means "English", in India has been changed to "Hinglish" - and that's exactly how they speak.
People hire Indians because they're CHEAP - and get exactly what they pay for.
So stfu, liberal, or move to India.

You sound like you are racist, classist and not very bright...what ethnicity are you, so I can judge your entire race?
I have been all around the world, and the thing I know is that we may talk different, look different, worship different but we are really ALL the same. I know many Indians, some are stupid, some are smart. I know some Africans who are uncoordinated and out of shape, and of course, there are many who are athletically gifted. I know Jews who are generous to a fault, I know Arabs who are tolerant, I know Mexicans who are hard working. I know the stereotypes and I know lots of people who contradict them. So, maybe you need to open your mind a little and stop trying to fit races in a 'box'. By the way, I'm a woman and guess what...I'm a good driver.
Also, the empirical data you refer to maybe slightly true as a generalization but it does not factor in on how the culture influenced those achievements. The Japanese culture puts a lot of emphasis on discipline and education. Many Blacks in the USA turned to athletics as a way out of oppression because they were raised to believe (rightly so) there was not a chance of success in the world of business and academics. So it's not that they are so different than other people, it's that their environment and culture influenced the skills that were developed in them. Hopefully, this is changing and we will see diversity increase in every career field...and as that happens, there will be less bigots like you who think they know all there is to know about someone because of their race.
You're an idiot. the only ones spreading the rumor that Indians are 'good at their job" are the ones out-sourcing to them and try to say it's because they are efficient and NOT because they are cheap. My point...and let me use big letters so you don't miss it :
SOME INDIANS ARE GOOD AND SOME ARE BAD AT THEIR JOBS JUST LIKE ANYONE ELSE. there, get it now!

I must disagree with your last statement. If Indians aren't very bright, why do they keep winning Spelling Bees? Why do so many of them get highly technical jobs and make more money than the average American(at least here in the USA)?
They may be racist, classist, and even castist, I don't know about that part.

Wow, your "Question", (if it can even be called that), started out interesting, and insightful. I think history is enlightening and if we all could just put our prejudices aside, we could see a lot of congruity in man kinds actions and see how we keep making them same mistakes over & over and it provides a blueprint on what to do & not to do. But then your question unfortunately dove right into the sesspool when you generalize that ALL Indians are racist, classist, and not very bright at all. This is especially unfortunate because you just got done explaining how "Asians" were essentially the Japanese and that the former definition included all the other Asian countries lumped together.

But that same 70s / 80s survey would have been coloured by 70s / 80s prejudices. If someone did the whole thing over again today, it might be worth discussing.

He became Jewish. i'm nonetheless grieving his death and antisemitism, which I despise besides, is an insult to his reminiscence. you're a troll. and that i think of you asked this question in the past and that i pronounced this same element.
