When we lost his dad, he kept a solid exterior, became really amorous, then the next day the went to 4 days of solitude/grieving. Yesterday we lost his best friend to an aneurysm, last night - you don't need the details. Today, I know he's gonna do an emotional crash. The guy was much younger than us and a marathon cyclist.

You are his peace, his escape. This should flatter you. His connection to you is his first step to grief. Then the rest can come a little easier for him.

...Does this mean he gets very sexual w/you .People handle grief in different ways just be there 4 him. He needs to stay in touch w/ those that understand the person or at least try to.Remember we r in this world 4 a short time make the best of it . His friend will go to a far better place if he has faith in God .Tell him that b/c its true...........

Maybe it helps him to feel more alive, so then he can grieve for his loss. You're lucky that he actually DOES grieve. A lot of men feel like they can't because they won't be considered "manly".

This is how he handles grief... Let him handle it in his own way and you be there for him and support and love him through it the way you would want him to do for you if you were the one grieving.
