Because they know now that rehab and maybe a fine is all they will get from the judge!!!!
So basically, this is a judicial problem....
I mean if I got caught DUI and was high on heroin, or cocaine, of w/e the heck else..id be in jail!!! no 6 months of rehab..

First of all, they have the money to pay for rehab. Secondly, they think it will "boost their image" if they do the right thing, after having an addiction. I find it rather annoying, because the celebrities don't have a better rep. after they admit to drinking or drug using.

They dont...they just figure that if they stay out of the limelight for a bit, everyone in the media will forget and move on. Wish they'd all go.

Famous people don't think that.But they know it looks good for them in the public eye.We love to see stars fall,only to rise to the top again.

They just want to detox for awhile, I don't think they give to sh*ts about forgiveness.
