First you should exfoliate you legs to get rid of the dead skin cells so you have a closer shave. When you're shaving, shave in the opposite direction that the hair on your legs. This will also give you a closer shave so that the results are much smoother. And last longer!!!!
You can also try a Depilatory Cream which is a cream that uses chemicals to dissolve the hair just underneath the skin's surface.
You can try putting soya milk after you have shaved or used the cream. Ingredients called serine protease inhibitors stop hair growth and keep you smoother for longer.

the variety of razor facilitates lots, try those made by skill of Venus. Shaving creme facilitates too, any type that starts off as a gel then will become foam. Shaving with conditioner wont help via fact conditioner is meant to make hair silky and tender, no longer epidermis. it's going to help in case you get a competent style of lotion meant for hydration and smoothness and use that each and daily or as directed on the bottle. additionally, use infant lotion or a dissolving tub bead that has a particular liquid in it that makes your legs rather tender.

first exfoliate your legs when you shower, rub on baby oil while still wet. I would recomend getting waxed at a salon as they are much better at it. but if your going to shave use something like veet mouse with the plastic razor and then use johnsons hair minimising cream every night it really keeps shaving to a minimum and leaves legs soft & smooth. but dont forget to exfoliate at least twice a week.

Try using a dry shaving product called Ultra Shave. It will act as a barrier between the razor blade and your skin, so you can shave more closely without feeling discomfort.
It also contains grape seed extract which is 15000 times stronger than vitamin E. It will prevent excessive damage to your skin while shaving and accelerate the healing process.

Veet and products like it work, but they dont always remove all the hair. I've tried shaving with baby oil - with a 4 or 5 blade razor. Also, i like sitting in a tub and shaving underwater. (i use the schick intution for that) Try it.

Use hair thinning cream or hair softening cream on your legs for a few days before shaving, and you should see the difference, and feel it ! Keep using the cream to notice longer lasting, more effective results.

Get out the hair conditioner and use it instead of shaving cream. It's wonderful! It makes your legs smooth and shiny!

There's a method called sugaring(I personally use it and highly recommend it) that is as effective as waxing but through my experience is not as painful (although there is some pain). It removes the hair pretty effectively and makes it grow less thicker than before. You can make it at home and if you're interested, you can find the recipe here http://www.care2.com/channels/solutions/self/432
