Because "The " Irfan Pathan is way off from good form...but the sad part is they are still considering him for the last ODI against West Indies. Shame.....pull "the" Pathan and "the" Dhoni off the team.

Irfan Phatan was out of the team for some time now and the best way to integrate a player is to make him work along with the team and that will help him to get into the groove.
The team management is keeping a close watch on the progress of irfan as he is a vital part of the team managemants plans for the world cup.
They probably do not want to rush his come back as long as they are sure that he will be able to handle the pressure.
He has great talent and it is just a matter of time that he will be back and make a strong come back.

dirty politics.NOW he again regained his form in ranji trophy.yesterday sreesanth gave 9 runs per over.in this respect i think irfan is far better than him.he is a very good player and an only one all rounder in Indian team.India had won 16 games continuously and at a once they fell down.in that 16 games irfan pathan,dhoni and yuvraj played a key role.now pathan is out of form,yuvraj is unfit and even dhoni is not playing that good.since those three are not at good form now there are one to make India win.
