i would say any gift certificates, lottery tickets, gas cards are a great gift to with it being so expensive now, maybe a bottle of wine?

Well, at my friend's bridal shower, we gave away movie tickets and CDs. Since it was for a wedding, the CDs were all sound tracks to movies about weddings (My Best Friend's Wedding, The Best Man, Honeymoon in Vegas, etc.). So you could give CDs with a baby theme (Three Men and a Baby, She's Having a Baby, etc.). Or how about Starbucks gift certificates?

With all the baby showers I have done the gifts go to the new mum so we've bought what ever it is we think she would want, and when the person wins they give the present to her (as it is her baby shower) If you feel the need to give the person who won the game something do up chocolate bags on the side to give to them and give the gifts to the new mum.

I always give out movie tickets, and gift cert for fast food rest. I find that most guys aren't too hard to please when it comes to the gifts...
