I m doin 1st ECE. I want to join IIT.how should i prepare myself to crack IIT ?

I m doin ECE 1ST year..i want to join IIT..i hav taken correnpondence from Brilliant Tutorials. i hav studied the YG files provided by them n hav solved two mock test papers provided by them . what else should i do to make my preparations better?

I also wanted to study in IIT and I wrote the JEE but I was not selected.I am also doing 1-ECE.I think it's well better you finish your BE and then you try for IIT it will be very easy and you can do your ME.
