the battery emptied several times (3 times since purchase 4.2006). we changed the battery the first time around. then it emptied again, so we had to jump start it. recently, when i start the car, i noticed difficulity in doing so as if there is not enough power in the battery to start the car! then, it seized to start at all several days ago; however, lights and all are still workiong fine. so later, i tried to jump start it AGAIN but it wont keep running what so ever (it would start but it stops right away). what do you think the problem is? is it electrical leakage? or some other problem? please help coz car dealers in this country are un trust worhty and a bunch of theives...i wish i was in the states...

oh by the way, i contacted the service manager and he claims that it must be my mistake (that i keep one of the lights on!!!). i havent taken it there yet. i will as soon as they pick it up.

It sounds like you have adrain on your battery or your altenator is not putting out the voltage your battery needs. If you can get a OHM meter from some one put the dial on DC or the symbol would be a striaght line. AC or house current is a wavey line. Now put it on the stright line and make sure the meter is set at 50 or 100 volts try to get the engine started and keep it running if you can. you may have to get the battery charged up so that you can do the check, place one probe from the meter on the,, Oh also make sure you have distilled water in your battery if yu have none then your battery cannot hold a charge fill it to the inside lower neck of the hole. Also make sure your connections are clean and tight and the cables are not corroded or is broke inside the insulation, clean yur battery posts with baking soda then rinse off,, then put your probe on the negitive side of the battery post and the other probe on the positive post while the engine is running look at the reading it should read 13.5 volts or abouve but not really over 16 volts if it is below that say around 12,0 volts then your altenator is not putting out if it is 13,5 and above your altenator is cool and you have a drain. At least you will know your altenator is good or bad and then yu can go from there Good Luck Oh if the reading is above the 16. volts then your altenator is really putting out to much which boils your battery and will cream it in no time

have u added any accessories to it other than factory? if so tdisconnect them then try charging the battery then see if that helps...if not there is a test that we can do at the dealer to see if there is an excessive draw in the system and can pinpoint with some work what is causing the drain

i could check out the charging gadget. in the journey that your battery drains like that AND the vehicle dies after it does initiate. that should point that the alternator (that which provides electric skill to the vehicle while began and fees the battery) is failing. So the vehicle tries to run off of the battery. while it sits for awhile, a number of the strained battery comes returned, that's how your lights will come on. yet another suggestion is a defective battery. recommendations: one million, maximum factors shops can examine to work out in the journey that your alternator is working spectacular or 2, if the battery is stable. yet another possiblity, did the stress belt for the alternator brake? loose connections on the alternator or battery? Corrosion on the battery terminals (if sure, get rid of the terminals and sandpaper them to cause them to sparkling returned and furnish stable touch)
