Look into what your professors are doing; they will likely already have studies going, and you can talk to them about joining their labs. Most students complete theses that represent a particular aspect of the research done in the lab.
Also, check into research programs in general, provided by your university. Mine offers grants and work positions for undergraduates engaged in research, and requires their mentors to participate actively in the process. Not everyone keeps uptodate on these initiatives, so you might have to ask quite a few people before you learn. If your school has a major scholarships office, or an office for research and development, head there first.

The psychological differences between men and women.
This can actually be a really good subject. Its not just about sexual preferences or needs, but about how they think and rationalize. What makes women more feeling, or are they really and do men just hide it? Why is it that men and women cannot understand anothers reasoning? How does our thinking change as we get older? There are so many questions that can be answered, or not, that this can get pretty lengthy.

What are you interested in? If you were more into psych disorders pick one you like or want to know more about, What is your specialty? I wrote a lot of psych papers on sex roles, and how boys and girls were treated differently. I would suggest writing your thesis on what ever your specialty is, or whatever most interests you in psychology.
