It's everywhere. No matter what race you are. Even white. If a white person is at a predominantly black school the kids can be racist, and vice versa, happens all the time. For example, in gym class my nephew isn't picked because "he's white and too slow" In a fast food restaurant I overhead the manager say that his crew was lazy because most of them are Hispanics! Or, a cashier at walmart said one day that the customers are really rude in the winter because a lot of northerners are down and you know how people from NY are nastier than people from here!
Now, racism is rampant, it is wrong, it is ugly. But you know what, our kids are not born that way, they learn it at home. What a shame.

Do you get world news where you live? Racial discrimination is at epidemic proportions - as bad now as at any time in our sordid history.

One thing is for certain. You are not a minority. Racial discrimination hasn't slowed down let alone stopped. It is prevailant and as dominant as ever and won't go away.
