AM i Pregnant?

Question

Hi i think im pregnant im four days late been late once before about 4 months ago. I was a bit stressed about five days before my period should have came on on the 23rd of jan but ive be calm now and i did a test two days ago but i pushed a wee out and it was like a dribble and did a test on that but there wasnt really a lot of wee about a table spoons worth and it came up not pregnant was that enough wee for a test or sould i do another one please help! thank you.

use the test first thing in the morning when you get up as this is when you a likely to do the biggest wee - you only need to hold the test stick pointing down for 20 seconds or so in the urine stream, a table spoon would be enough (as you put it)

Yes i would do another test just to put your mind at ease. As for was there enough wee I would say yes as you got a negative result, if there wasn't enough i don't think you would have got a result. I would do the next test first thing in the morning that way the pregnancy hormones are more concentrated in your wee.

if you've waited long enough to do a test it doesn't really matter how much wee you squeeze out or the time of the day you wee because the tests are soooo sensitive now they can pick up the most tiny amounts of hormones. you are however, much more likely to get a false negative than a false positive, so you could do another test. to be sure go to your GP and I hope its the result you want

If is very unlikely that you would get a positive pregnancy tests doing it in the way you did.

when you are first pregnant the HCG Hormone takes 24-36 hours to double from the day of implantation - assuming that this occured on day 7 after ovulation you would not get a positive test result until the first after your missed period.

You need to hold your wee overnight and test first thing in the morning - use internet cheapies if you are going to repeatedly test - don't waste money.

a point to note - a teaspoons full of pee is enough to test if the HCG Hormone is present the test will pick it up.

If the test said you are not pregnant then i don't think you are, it doesn't matter how much wee was on the stick as long as it was enough to wet the test. Although if you still haven't come ON do another test in a couple of days. Good luck.

buy another one and wait until you dying for the loo. best way is to do it first wee of the day is its more stronger. just wee into a jug or something and then dip the stick into it for 10 seconds and wait for result.

i couldnt say if it was enough to get the stick completely wet as all tests are different. just try again to make sure.

your hornmones will play up on you if you are really wanting to conceive so just try to relax and not to expect anything until you know it comes back possitive

i didnt wee enough on a test once and got a faint positive but that was false as it was over the 10 mins they allow the test to work. so i would deffo test again to b sure u get the correct result.

do the test first thing in the morning. I personally wee into a old cup and dip the pregnancy test in it that way you know plenty has gone on the test and the results should be accurate

wait two more days and do another test with your first pee of the day. NOT all test are the same and they are not all accurate but if you get the faintest line then you are.You are also best off going doctors and getting them to do you a test just to be on the safe side.
