Why does my popup blocker always use a popup to remind me?

That it's just blocked a popup?

Is it time to start foaming at the mouth and drive my keyboard through my monitor?

Maybe you use the wrong one?

Check the Yahoo toolbar - blocks popups, and doesn`t generate one itself.
It does have an audio alert.
It works on IE and on FireFox ;)

i hate that, there has to be a control somewhere that just lets the pop up blocker notify us in a different way
