Advantages:
Fast way to communicate
Can be sent during any time of the day
Can be sent anywhere in the world
Disadvantages:
Cost more than other methods such as email
Not everybody has a mobile phone so it may exclude certain people
People may not reply to the text therefore it is not really effective if people want to communicate
May be difficult to get a signal and send the text

well.. a few advantages are of course in the simplicity and conveniece of the design. you can birng it with you anywhere you go, text wherever you are and call whenever you want, right? i guess a disatadvantage would be the extra money you need to buy for load, the card and cell repair and also the waves coming from your cell can seriously be unhealthy to your body if you lay close to it for a long period of time.

not exactly sure except for a quick message to a friend. Personally I hate to text. It takes me forever!! give me a pc and keyboard any day!

we txt lyk dis, shortn evry word 2 type in mre wrds. if u txt lyk dis, u'd slowly suck n spellng. ud actually 4get hw to rily spll d wrds crrctly
