Lugs that hold the seat to the pan? This has Broke and it's a new seat!! I can't take it back as i have not kept the Re-seat!!

yes u can buy the bar for it. i bought 1 in a diy shop for a couple of £s

If the goods are faulty you do not need a receipt. Most DIY stores will sell the parts you need but if you have a problem in getting them try Plumb Center (this is the way they spell it) or Travis Perkins.

Regardless whether you have receipt or not, take it back, most stores will see it's defective and will replace it. I don't know of anyplace where you can only buy the bar. You might try a different brand next time you buy.

I replaced mine not long ago . . you can get toilet seat repair kits at Home Depot/Lowe's . . . but if you just bought it, I'd take it back to the store even if you don't have the receipt.

take one of the lugs to a D I Y shop and buy a piece of wooden dowel the same diameter and cut to length ..you will have some over for next time

B&Q sell toilet seat hinge repair kits for a few quid.
