I am 28 weeks pregnant with my third child and I have noticed that he has regular movement but has never moved from the position he is in since we had our first ultrasound. His head is in my left hip, his butt is on the right and he is very low. With my other two they could flip around and change sides but this one never has. It's strange and I am going to bring it up to my OB on my next visit but I was wondering if any other women have ever had this experience? He seems perfectly fine except that he just stays in one place.

As long as you feel movement and everything checks out on the sonograms and at your check ups it should be fine. The baby is content where he/she is right now...nice and comfy! I would mention it to your OB just to be 110% sure though. I have 4 kids and with my first he used to toss and turn..my hubby used to put the TV remote on my belly and watch him kick it off! I thought there was something wrong with my other 3 because they didn't move around as much. Not all pregnancies and babies are the same.

my 2 kids did the same, they never moved into different position
the whole prenatal period. they were breech with their *** on my pelvic inlet so i undergone c/s operation with both of them. the ultrasound results showed they're normal but just on breech position. the doctor told me that they'll change position when almost due but they never. during my operation the doctors found out that i have abnormality in my uterus. i've got 2 uterus and they grew on the normal one but they cannot change their position.but my case is different because you've got 2 kids already before this. just make sure you have to undergo ultrasound before giving birth to make sure of the kids condition.

Comfort is a funny thing. My son was the same and his azz was always in my rib cage.Very uncomfortable for me.I was always massaging and pushing (gently)-the area to get him to move. But as much as I did, he stayed. He must have liked the attention or the massage. My doctor always gave me the ok and he was fine.

My son did this too. I always felt him kicking on my right side, hardly ever on my left. It doesn't necisarily mean something is wrong, but anything that concerns you should be brought up to your OB/GYN.
