How to recall sound in my computer

Most computers come with sound cards (codecs) built in to the bord, if yours stopped working then either your sound card went out and you need a new one, that will go in a pci slot. or something corrupted or removed the drivers. More than likely you can try to roll back the drivers or re-install them.. if that doesnt work try getting a new sound card. You can look up the kind of built in sound card in the manual or on the system builders website, chances are they have the drivers on their website.

well if you are building one a sound card and speakers are essential with software to run it, but there should be a sound card in the computer perhaps its the software that needs updating nvidia has a great range of drivers.Sometimes the speakers are built in to the lcd screen and its just a case of changing the settings to increase the tone.Look on the control panel under sound/speaker to change settings or to test the hardware.

You need to identify the make and model of sound card installed, then go to the manufacturers website and download the drivers for that card and to suit your operating system. If you are unsure what card is installed contact the computer manufacturer, or remove the sound card, SWITCH OFF COMPUTER FIRST, check it for makers name and possible model numbers
