Wear nice clothes, since you're 13 I assume it's not formal.
Wear some nice jeans(not faded or torn or too baggy), cargo pants, or preferably some nice dress slacks (black or khaki). Wear a button up long sleeve shirt. I prefer a solid color, usually a cool color such as blue, grey, or green. White is classic but bland and gets dirty easy. Stripes are fine, vertical ones will make you look taller (at least in the torso). As a rule stay away from patterns.
Wear some nice shoes. Make sure they match your pants and your belt. A belt is always good because, well it holds up your pants and adds some flair and breaks the blandness when you tuck in your shirt. A belt can be any pattern, color, material, as long as it matches the outfit.
Make sure your socks match your shoes or pants, nothing is dorkier than white socks with black shoes and pants.
A tie is basically the only way a man has to express himself. For this reason it can be colorful or patterned or what ever you like, try to get it to go with your shirt though, aim for at least one matching or complimenting color. Try to avoid a clip-on if possible, it'll let you learn how to tie a tie, something every man should know.
As a rule it's hard to look bad when you dress good, and if the other guys come in jeans and a t-shirt then you look mature and exotic, 2 things women love.
Hair is always best short, put some gell in it and spike it, part it, ruffle it up for the bed-head effect, whatever you think looks best.
While you're at it, brush your teeth, clip your nails, slap on some deoderant, and put on a LITTLE cologne.
Or heck wear a hat, fedoras are timeless. Plus a hat gives you that extra edge, that little stand out feature. But only wear one if you are confident in your ability to make it work.
Ask her how she's doing? Is she having a good time? Does she like the music? Where did she get her dress or earrings, They're very beautiful. After a few icebreakers try to find an interest of hers and talk about it. Or something that affects you both, a new band, or movie, something at school.
If you can ask her her favorite song, request it and get it played by the DJ and ask her to dance to it, you're good. Tell a good CLEAN! joke. Try to be yourself and act natural, it's nothing to fret about. If you can't dance I can't help you, just try to do what everyone else is.
Wait til you get to high school kid, then the dance is just for appearances, it's the dinner and the after-party that really matter. But for now have fun and try to get some good slow dances in.
Good luck, have fun, and take it easy.

Wear something thats comfortable to dance in and reflects you as a person. A nice pair of jeans with a crisp white shirt with some funky design always looks fresh. If thats not your taste then wear attire according to your style and the key is 'tailoring'. You cant go wrong when something fits you! As for the girls, you're a young lad and shouldn't worry too much. Just be yourself because you want to attract someone that accepts you for you. All the best!

You have plenty of time to find a girlfriend mate! It may sound totally illogical but the best way to get a girlfriend (if you really want one) is to not worry about getting one. If you trully accept the fact that the world won't end if you don't get a girl everything will magically fall into place.
As for what wear, make sure its smart yet comfortable. Maybe some dark jeans with smart shoes and a button-up shirt.
Good Luck

I think you need to slow down first. ; )
I'm sure you're not as unattractive as you say you are, girls like guys with some self confidence you know! (Just not full of themselves, that is REALLY unattractive)
Try something affordable, just not too expensive, because if it is obvious that you went out and bought something really expensive, then you might run the risk of being called a try-hard or a wannabe. So try this:
*Black shorts (pinstripe)
*Black shoes (e.g volleys)
*White button-up shirt (or printed white shirt)
*A billabong or shark-tooth necklace
(p.s. make sure you wear ankle socks, not long ones!!)
*Spike you hair if it's short, or if it's long, put product in it and mess it up a little..
If you follow these simple rules, then you will be the HIT of the disco, and probably the hottest thanks to us!!
(As for how to approach the girls, be yourself, just don't act desperate, because it might leave a bad first impression. Just be calm, and be yourself! Everyone will love you... : )
P.S. Don't try to kiss her on the first disco (or date) if some one approaches you, or you approach them, be nice, don't kiss her yet! (too desperate!) Ask her out for a coffee or if you don't like coffee, try a milkshake at the local cafe..

Right well stop the crude language for a start. Girls really are not THAT worried about what blokes look like and in fact dont like the pretty ones, it detracts from them. Treat the girl like a friend, which is in fact what you really would like her to be. Talk about your interests basically girls are only blokes without willies so treat them exactly like you would like to be treated.
Some may like football, motorbikes, dresses etc. You may say dresses, I know sweet yahoo about dresses, but you do. You subconsiously look at girls and think god she looks rough or mmmmm. Frequently its what she is wearing.
Remember that "she" is also in exactly the same situation.
Relax (easy to say, difficult to do) you will come across then as suave and sophisticated and THEN the girls will want to go out with you.
An easy way to relax with girls is if you see several chatting in the playground or at the bus stop join in after a while it seems natural and "they" stop thinking of you as a "guy" and just treat YOU as a mate.
Enjoy, wish I knew then what I know now...

You can get a cheap Barry Gibbs wig--the kind with long bangs that feather out and down around the head, or just take a fine-toothed comb and a touch of gel and feather one side. Watch That 70's show for inspiration..check out Kelso and Eric Foreman specifically.
As for girls, clean up your language first. There're really better ways of getting your point across than cussing like a sailor. Beyond that, ask them questions that will get them talking about themselves (because EVERYONE loves to talk about themselves). And when they talk about themselves, *LISTEN* and be respectful and responsive to what they're saying. And last, try a slightly more positive spin on things..OK, you're kind of unattractive. That must mean you're also kind of attractive, or else you'd be TOTALLY unattractive, right? It's OK to like yourself--and others will like you if you like you (just don't get stuck on yourself).
Have fun, kiddo. These are wacky, confusing years, but you can do it.

hmmm...a disco? Are you talking about a dance? If you say disco ppl are going to think 70's right of the bat. hmm, wear a solid red button up shirt (un tucked so it doesn't look formal unless you want the formal look then go on ahead), jeans, and uhh some sort of black (dress) shoe? Oh and girls..uh, be your self, no girl wants/likes a fake. Hope that helps some.

aaaa well.
A) if you have cash to spend ,then u should get a makeover coz if ur not comfortable in ur skin no-one will want to hook up wit u. be confident there's nothing sexier than confidence.(not over-confident though)
B)for that disco thing i suggest that u go on the style.com click on the men's section and see some runway shows(for men obviously),observe the styles u like and try to get some ideas.if u have absolutely nothing in ur warbdrobe go shopping.
C)i think the hair in the avatar doesn't look bad, just go get it done at the hairdresser on that date of the disco.
ps also make sure ur skin is clear.

Ok I'm 14 and at school discos, boys always dress down, and the girls dress up. The smart, sexy boys tend to wear a smart shirt, (black would be good, avoid patterns) and a pair of smart jeans to tone it down a bit...black denim always looks great on guys I think :).
Ooh and if you wear a shirt have one of the buttons undone...more suave!
And as to approaching girls its really about confidence and being calm. Have a laugh, and don't keep stresssing about how you look. And one tip LISTEN to what she has to say and don't just gawk into her eyes/lips or w/eva 'cos she'll think you're not listening to her.

ok im a 14 yr old girl and i really hate it when a guy acts like he is cool. if you really like a girl just be yourself and be nice to her. girls hate it when guys show off pretend that the whole world revolves around them! fir looks just wear a nice shirt or t-shirt a nice pair of jeans and maybe some clean trainers or even a pair of shoes depending on the shirt. for your hair just spike it up or something. make sure not to put too much gel in it because you might look like you're trying too hard. and im sure you're not unattractive! hope this helps you!
